Job summary

Addison Group is hiring a Benefits Analyst on behalf of our client to provide hands-on support for employee benefits administration, customer inquiries, and Open Enrollment activities. This role will work closely with the Benefits team to help ensure benefits questions are addressed accurately and efficiently while supporting ongoing HR initiatives.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, service-oriented, comfortable working with sensitive benefits information, and able to manage a high volume

Qualifications

• Approximately 2 years of experience in benefits administration, HR, or related area preferred.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using Workday, ServiceNow, or comparable HRIS/ticketing system.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with employee information and benefits transactions.
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues and work independently when researching solutions.

Responsibilities

• Respond to a high volume of benefits questions via email, phone, and HR ticketing platform within timeframes.
• Assist employees, faculty, staff, and retirees with questions about health and welfare plans, FSAs, retirement plans, leave programs, and other benefits.
• Coordinate and execute annual Open Enrollment activities including communications, education, and enrollment support.
• Provide administrative assistance related to retirement plans and ensure compliance with requirements.
• Research complex benefits questions and collaborate with internal resources for solutions.
• Escalate issues affecting broader employee population and communicate trends to Benefits leadership.
• Compile and interpret benefits information for reporting, analysis, and planning.
• Help develop FAQs and resources for frequently requested benefits information.
• Support new-hire benefits enrollment and ongoing benefits administration initiatives.
