Addison Group is seeking a Temporary Benefits Coordinator in Washington, DC, to support open enrollment and year-end benefits administration. The role sits in HR Benefits and collaborates with the Compensation and Benefits Manager and HR Director.

The ideal candidate will bring a solid benefits administration foundation, willingness to learn organization-specific processes, and a collaborative, service-driven mindset in a fast-paced nonprofit environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2 years of relevant experience, or Associate's with 5 years, or Master's degree.
• 2–5 years of hands-on benefits coordination or administration experience.
• Direct experience managing health and welfare enrollments, COBRA notices, and vendor portal updates.
• Working knowledge of CostPoint or comparable HRIS for benefit deduction changes.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary contact for employees regarding health, welfare, and transit benefits during enrollments and changes.
• Input benefits deduction updates in CostPoint and prepare supporting forms.
• Maintain vendor benefit portals and reflect enrollment changes.
• Monitor retirement plan eligibility and liaise with plan administrator and payroll.
