Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Wind Technician to support onshore wind sites within the PA1 Hub. You will perform turbine maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics, coordinating with site leadership to meet contract requirements and safety standards.

The role requires local travel, the ability to climb towers, and strong mechanical, electrical and hydraulic aptitude. A valid driver’s license and basic computer skills are essential, with relocation assistance provided where needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year wind technician experience or wind certificate/associate degree.
• Passing Technical Knowledge Assessment.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with site & hub leadership to execute contractual obligations per customer requirements.
• Perform maintenance, repair or replacement of parts to correct malfunctions.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems on turbines.
• Assist in all areas of site operations with minimal supervision and safety compliance.
• Perform diagnostic electrical analysis.
• Document all work using service reporting procedures.
• Coordinate with GE’s remote operations center when needed.
