Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Wind Hub Technician to maintain turbine operations, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and electrical issues, and handle warranty repairs across Texas wind sites.

You will work with site leadership to meet customer requirements, document work in service reports, and coordinate with GE's remote operations center, with a rotating shift and on-call duties as needed.

This role requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to lift 45 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with wind tech experience or 2+ years hydraulic/electrical work.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 45 lbs and climb 300+ ft towers.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and work across varied environments.

Responsibilities

• Execute contractual obligations with daily site activities.
• Perform maintenance, repair or parts replacement to fix malfunctions.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and electrical issues on turbines.
• Document all work using service reporting procedures.
• Coordinate with GE's remote operations center as needed.
