Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Wind Technician to support wind site operations in the PA1 Hub. This role requires local travel between wind sites to perform turbine maintenance, safety checks, and warranty repair work while coordinating with site leadership to meet contract requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED with wind energy experience or related technical training, basic computer skills, and the ability to document service activities.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Wind Technician or equivalent in wind energy operations.
• Basic computer skills and ability to document work via service reports.

Responsibilities

• Maintain turbine operations and safety at wind sites.
• Perform maintenance, repair or replacement of parts to fix malfunctions.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on turbines.
• Coordinate with Site Lead and Manager to meet contract requirements.
• Document all work using service reporting procedures.
• Support remote operations center as needed.
• Work with site and hub leadership to fulfill daily obligations.
