Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Wind Technician to support turbine operations and maintenance across multiple wind sites within Hub TX 12. The role emphasizes safety, quality control, and warranty repair with daily site involvement.

Candidates should have 1+ year wind technician experience or related training, plus a high school diploma or GED and basic computer skills; willingness to travel and work rotating shifts is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year experience as Wind Technician/Wind Mechanic or Wind Certificate/Associates, or 2 years electrical work.
• Passing a Technical Knowledge Assessment required.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain turbine operations, safety, quality control and warranty repair.
• Perform maintenance, repair or replacement of parts.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems on turbines.
• Document all work using computer-based service reporting.
• Coordinate with site leadership and GE remote operations center.
