Job summary

Via is seeking an Operations Manager to lead daily onsite operations for our public mobility service in the Montgomery area. This is a hands-on, field-focused role with 4-5 days onsite per week, overseeing fleet, driver supply, safety, and rider experience.

You will guide and support drivers, coordinate with city partners, and use data to drive performance improvements while ensuring DOT/FMCSA compliance and safety.

Qualifications

• Operationally experienced with a background in people management, logistics, customer service, or process-oriented work.
• Hands-on and proactive, in-field problem solving and field learning are valued.
• Strong communication and collaboration with drivers, riders, and city partners.

Responsibilities

• Run daily onsite operations to provide safe, reliable transportation for riders.
• Make real-time decisions on fleet, driver supply, compliance, and rider needs.
• Guide and support drivers, building trust and delivering great service.
• Convert rider/community feedback into actionable improvements with internal teams.
• Use data to diagnose performance issues and implement efficiency enhancements.
• Act as the operational bridge among city partners, drivers, and Via teams.
