Job summary

You will handle inmate telephones, video visitation systems, and inmate tablets, perform daily data entry, and carry out installation, repair, and maintenance tasks. Qualifications

• 2+ years in telecommunications including installation, repair, and troubleshooting of inmate communication systems.
• 2 years experience with computer/network installation and repair.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
• High School Diploma or GED; some college courses preferred.
• Basic computer skills; pass criminal background screens.
• Inmate telecom experience preferred; wireless networking and cabling knowledge.
• Fiber optic knowledge a plus; understanding of network bandwidth.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, correcting, and servicing issues with inmate technology systems.
• Maintain, repair, and operate onsite telecommunications hardware and wiring.
• Address basic telephone repair and maintenance needs.
• Meet all service requirements as set forth by the customer contract.
• Build relationships with facility personnel, customers, and contractors.
• Monitor time and control service-related expenses.
• Deliver services in a timely and effective manner for optimal performance.
• Provide onsite instruction and training for site personnel as necessary.
