Topcon Healthcare in Oakland, NJ is seeking a proficient Technical Support Specialist for a 100% onsite role. You will provide skilled technical assistance to customers, troubleshoot products, and support projects globally from our headquarters.

Requirements include a BS/AS in Electronic Technology or related field, knowledge of SQL/ Networking, and strong communication skills. Spanish skills are a plus; strong IT background is essential.

Qualifications

• BS degree or AS in Electronic Technology, Biomedical Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.
• Preferred engineering degree such as Biomedical, Electrical, or Mechanical.
• Basic knowledge of SQL, Networking and Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office.
• Good written & verbal communication skills.
• Good organization skills and multitasking ability.
• Negotiation, people, and critical thinking skills.
• Knowledge of medical device preventative maintenance and repair.

Responsabilités

• Provide professional assistance to clients via telephone.
• Troubleshoot and repair Topcon products in house and at customer sites.
• Provide remote assistance via internet or phone.
• Provide technical and clinical support to customers, distributors and employees.
• Work under minimal supervision.
• Escalate and track RMAs for repair.
