Qualifications

• BS/AS in Electronic Technology, Biomedical Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.
• Engineering degree such as Biomedical, Electrical, or Mechanical preferred.
• Basic knowledge of SQL, Networking, Windows and Microsoft Office.
• Bilingual in English and French; Fluency required.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organization and multitasking abilities; able to analyze and resolve problems.
• Negotiation, people, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to deal effectively with customers.
• Knowledge of medical device preventative maintenance and repair.
• Attention to follow-up and flexibility with hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional assistance to clients by answering inquiries and interpreting resources via phone.
• Troubleshoot and repair Topcon products in house and at customer sites.
• Provide remote assistance via internet or phone.
• Deliver technical and clinical support to customers, distributors and employees.
• Work under minimal supervision and escalate issues as needed (open/track RMAs).
• Maintain detailed follow-up and support documentation.
