Job summary

Intuit, Inc. in the United States seeks TurboTax Local Service Experts to perform on-site tax return preparation, provide tax advice, and connect clients with broader Intuit services.

You will work in person at a TurboTax location, support both individual and small business scenarios, and help customers navigate complex tax situations. You’ll build local relationships, lead community outreach, and partner with marketing to grow the client base while delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• Active professional credentials (EA/CPA) and strong tax familiarity.
• PTIN active as required by law to file taxes.
• 3+ years preparing 1040s for individuals and small businesses with tax software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230 tax practitioner rules.
• Willingness to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services.
• Onsite availability at a TurboTax office, 20+ hours/week.
• Complete training and compliance requirements as directed.
• Willingness to wear uniforms and allow use of name/photo for advertising.
• Interest in building local and online presence for TurboTax.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients.
• Engage in local growth through outreach, referrals, and partnerships.
• Connect clients with bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services.
• Develop lasting relationships and deliver a best-in-class experience.
• Assist clients in understanding tax scenarios and future planning.
