Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking on-site TurboTax Local Service Experts to provide hands-on tax preparation and expert guidance for individuals and small businesses at local TurboTax locations in the United States.

You will work with a team of specialists to deliver end-to-end service, from discovery to final tax filings, while growing the local client base through community outreach and face-to-face engagements.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software; Circular 230 familiarity.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development; training requirements may change.
• Must be willing to wear Intuit uniforms and be used for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax expertise by giving tax advice and completing preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex situations.
• Be a proactive community ambassador to build and grow a local customer base for TurboTax.
• Champion the full Intuit ecosystem by linking clients to bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, or Credit Karma.
• Build relationships and turn one‑time transactions into long‑term client partnerships.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience with professionalism and a focus on achieving clients' financial goals.
