Job summary

Intuit Careers is hiring TurboTax Local Service Experts to work on-site at a TurboTax location in the United States. You will provide hands-on tax preparation, client consultations, and connect customers with the broader Intuit ecosystem for year-round support.

The role emphasizes community outreach, local client growth, and delivering a premium customer experience, with opportunities to expand services and impact through training and partnerships.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/Attorney with strong tax prep experience and knowledge of tax laws.
• Active PTIN as required to file taxes.
• 3+ years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per season using pro tax software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types with training.
• Must be onsite 20+ hours per week and complete required training.
• Willing to wear uniforms and be featured in marketing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Build local growth: outreach, events, referrals, partnerships to grow the client base.
• Connect clients with bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, or Credit Karma as needed.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience and help clients achieve financial goals.
• Maintain strong knowledge across Intuit ecosystem to guide clients year-round.
