Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking TurboTax Local Service Experts to work on-site at a TurboTax location in the United States, delivering hands-on tax preparation and expert guidance for in-person and virtual clients.

You will collaborate with specialists across business tax, bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services to provide an end-to-end Intuit experience while growing your local client base through outreach and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040s per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types (bookkeeping, payroll, advisory) with training from Intuit.
• Must reside within the United States and be able to work onsite at a TurboTax location.
• Must be comfortable working onsite 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time, Monday–Friday, for at least 20 hours per week.
• Must complete required training and development as determined by the business.
• Must wear Intuit uniforms and be comfortable using your name/picture for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex situations.
• Identify deductions, minimize tax liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future tax planning advice.
• Grow local client base through outreach, grass-roots marketing, referrals, and community partnerships.
• Connect clients to bookkeeping, payroll, planning, or Credit Karma as appropriate.
• Deliver an end-to-end Intuit experience with in-person and virtual client meetings.
