Job summary

Intuit is seeking motivated individuals for TurboTax Local Service Expert roles in one of our TurboTax locations in the United States. You will perform on‑site tax preparation, provide expert guidance, and collaborate with specialists across bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning.

Qualifications

EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
Have an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) as required by law to file taxes.
Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software. Familiarity with Circular 230
Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas (e.g., bookkeeping, payroll, business tax advisory) with training provided by Intuit
Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, Monday through Friday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week. Operating hours are subject to change and will likely scale up during periods of peak customer demand, such as tax season
Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development as determined by the business including, but not limited to, compliance training, proficiency‑based up‑skilling, cross‑training of other products or offerings, and professional development. Training requirements are subject to change based on business needs and the company reserves the right to introduce additional requirements at any time
Must be willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms. Must be willing to use your name, picture for advertising on goggle.
Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax‑related content and resources for your community in accordance with Intuit’s policies
Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus
Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing

Provide Tax Expertise - Give hands‑on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
Be a Proactive Community Ambassador - actively build and grow a new local customer base for TurboTax.
Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem - connect clients with bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, or advisory services.
Build Relationships - develop long‑term trust to convert transactions into ongoing relationships.
