Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking motivated individuals to join our TurboTax Local Service Expert team, working on-site at a local TurboTax location in the United States.

You will provide hands-on tax preparation, expert advice, and connect clients with the broader Intuit ecosystem to deliver end-to-end financial guidance. As a Local Service Expert, you’ll grow your client base through community outreach, deliver excellent service, and collaborate with specialists in bookkeeping, payroll, and financial

Qualifications

• Must have EA/CPA or practicing attorney with strong tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax laws.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 returns per season using professional tax software. Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types (bookkeeping, payroll, advisory) with training from Intuit.
• Onsite at a TurboTax office location, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Mon–Fri, for at least 20 hours/week; hours may scale during peak season.
• Must complete training and development as required; uniforms and branding usage expected.
• Interest in building local and online presence as a TurboTax Expert; can create tax tips/content per company policy.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients across simple to complex tax situations.
• Act as a community ambassador to attract and grow a local client base and maintain relationships.
• Connect clients with appropriate Intuit ecosystem solutions (bookkeeping, payroll, planning) for year-round support.
• Deliver exceptional customer experience, professionalism, and guidance to help clients achieve financial goals.
• Interact with clients in-person and via Intuit video tools, addressing inquiries and tax challenges.
