Job summary

Intuit is seeking motivated individuals to join our TurboTax - Local Service Expert team at a local TurboTax location in the United States. You will provide on-site tax preparation, expert advice, and software support to in-person and virtual clients, delivering end-to-end Intuit services.

As a Local Service Expert, you’ll grow your client base in the community, collaborate with specialists across tax, bookkeeping, payroll and planning, and help clients achieve financial goals while upholding

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state individual 1040 returns per season using professional tax software; familiar with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types with training by Intuit.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time, Mon–Fri, for at least 20 hours weekly.
• Willingness to complete all required training and development; compliance and cross-training may be required.
• Willing to wear Intuit uniforms and use name/picture for advertising.
• Interest in building local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Be a proactive community ambassador to grow the local TurboTax client base with outreach and events.
• Connect clients with Intuit ecosystems, including bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning services.
• Build relationships and turn transactions into long-term client partnerships.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience through professional service and clear guidance.
