Job summary

Intuit Careers is seeking highly motivated TurboTax Local Service Experts to work on-site at a TurboTax location in the United States, delivering full-service tax preparation, expert tax advice, and software support. You’ll collaborate with a team of specialists across business tax, bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services to provide end-to-end client experiences.

You’ll grow the local client base, engage with the community, and leverage TurboTax marketing tools to build a thriving practice

Qualifications

• Enrolled Agent, CPA, or attorney with tax prep experience and knowledge of tax laws.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• 3+ years paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040s per season using professional tax prep software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, or advisory with training provided by Intuit.
• Must sit onsite at a TurboTax office, 20+ hours/week, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time.
• Must complete all training and development as required by the business.
• Must wear Intuit uniforms and may be featured in advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online TurboTax presence; create tax tips/content.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Act as a local community ambassador to grow the client base and engage with prospects via outreach and events.
• Connect clients with Intuit solutions (bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning) for year-round support.
• Deliver exceptional customer experience and explain tax implications to clients in plain language.
• Build long-term relationships and trust through in-person and virtual meetings.
