Job summary

Intuit, Inc. seeks TurboTax Local Service Experts to provide hands-on tax advice and end-to-end preparation for clients, both in person and virtually, at a local TurboTax location in the United States.

You will grow the local client base, build trusted relationships, and connect clients with the broader Intuit ecosystem including bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning, while maintaining a high standard of service and community engagement.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/Attorney with strong tax prep experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws.
• Active PTIN to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per season using professional tax preparation software. Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, Monday through Friday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development as determined by the business including, but not limited to, compliance training, proficiency‑based up‑skilling, cross‑training of other products or offerings, and professional development. Training requirements are subject to change based on business needs and the company reserves the right to introduce additional requirements at any time
• Must be willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms. Must be willing to use your name, picture for advertising on goggle.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax‑related content and resources for your community in accordance with Intuit’s policies
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations (personal and business income, deductions optimization, amendments).
• Be a proactive community ambassador by identifying and pursuing prospects through outreach, grass-roots marketing, referral networks, and partnerships.
• Champion the full Intuit ecosystem by connecting clients with solutions such as bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, or Credit Karma.
• Build relationships with clients to turn one-time transactions into long-term engagements.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience through in-person and video interactions, addressing inquiries and tax challenges.
