Job summary

Atlas Technica, LLC is seeking a Systems Engineer to join our on-site Support team in Austin, TX. This hands-on, client-facing role provides dedicated onsite IT support within one of our client environments and requires strong technical troubleshooting and clear communication.

You will work with the Atlas Technica team on escalations, maintain systems across Windows, 365, and security tools, and ensure adherence to change-control procedures.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in IT desktop support, systems engineering, or a related technical environment
• Experience with Microsoft 365 environments and endpoints
• Knowledge of Windows Server, AD, and Group Policy
• Experience with endpoint protection (Sophos or similar)
• Understanding of virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)
• Strong networking basics (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated onsite IT support to client users
• Manage and resolve requests through ticketing system
• Troubleshoot Windows desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
• Support Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Intune, Teams, Entra ID)
• Assist with systems administration and security standards
• Escalate complex issues and collaborate with Atlas Technica resources
• Maintain accurate ticket notes and documentation
• Communicate status and follow-up to users and stakeholders
• Support onsite infrastructure and projects
