Job summary

Atlas Technica is seeking a Systems Engineer to join our onsite Support team in Austin, TX. The role provides dedicated IT support within a client environment and requires strong Windows, Microsoft 365, and networking skills.

You will troubleshoot, document, and collaborate with senior engineers while upholding security standards and customer‑first service. This is a full‑time onsite position with local client engagement.

Qualifications

• 2+ years IT experience in desktop support, systems engineering, or related environments.
• Strong end‑user support across Windows, Office, desktops and mobile devices.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 environments including Exchange Online and SharePoint Online.
• Working knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
• Experience with endpoint protection such as Sophos or similar platforms.
• Basic virtualization knowledge (VMware or Hyper‑V).
• Solid networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, routing).
• Excellent written and verbal communication for client engagement.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated onsite IT support and technical assistance to client users.
• Manage and resolve support requests through the organization’s ticketing system.
• Troubleshoot end‑user issues involving Windows, Office, desktops, laptops and mobile devices.
• Support Microsoft 365 environments, including Exchange Online and SharePoint Online.
• Assist with systems administration across Windows Server, AD, Group Policy and identity management.
• Troubleshoot networking, virtualization, security, and infrastructure issues within the client environment.
• Escalate complex issues and collaborate with Atlas Technica resources for resolution.
• Maintain accurate ticket notes and technical documentation.
• Follow security standards and change‑control procedures; communicate status to users and stakeholders.
• Support onsite infrastructure and project activities as needed.
