Atlas Technica, LLC in Chicago, IL is seeking a Jr. Systems Engineer – Dedicated to join our growing Support team. This hands-on, client-facing role provides dedicated onsite IT support within assigned client environments.

The Jr. Systems Engineer will serve onsite with the client, providing direct user support, troubleshooting issues, maintaining documentation, and escalating more complex issues to Systems Engineers.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of IT experience in desktop support or related technical environment.
• Hands-on end-user and desktop support across Windows, Office, desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
• Experience supporting or administering Microsoft 365 environments (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Intune, Entra ID).
• Foundational knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and related systems-administration concepts.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional, customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated onsite IT support and technical assistance to client users.
• Manage and resolve support requests through the organization’s ticketing system.
• Troubleshoot end-user issues involving Windows, Office, desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
• Support Microsoft 365 environments (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Intune, Teams, Entra ID).
• Assist with basic systems administration across Windows Server, AD, Group Policy, identity, access, and endpoint-management technologies.
• Escalate complex issues to Systems Engineers and collaborate to resolve.
• Maintain accurate ticket notes and documentation.
• Follow security standards and change-control procedures.
• Communicate status and resolutions to users and internal teams.
• Travel to other client locations in Chicago metro area as required.
