Job summary

RTX is seeking an IT Systems Administrator in the US to manage Windows and Linux environments, including DNS, DHCP, AD, and replication. The role supports integration of hardware and operating systems and requires DoD 8140/8570 certification compliance and U.S. citizenship.

Applicants must be eligible for Interim Secret clearance and work onsite in Andover, MA, with full-time responsibilities and relocation assistance offered where applicable.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience, or an advanced degree.
• Ability to obtain interim U.S. Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
• Experience with Windows and/or Linux OS installation, configuration, and administration.
• Experience with server architectures and troubleshooting methods.
• Ability to develop solutions and documentation for technical problems.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment.
• Experience with Windows Server internals or Linux fundamentals including DNS, DHCP, AD, and server replication.
• Collaborate as a team member in a fast-paced environment; use troubleshooting to resolve moderate to high scope problems.
• Must be able to obtain DoDD 8140 / 8570 Certification within a reasonable amount of time.
