Job summary

RTX is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to support a Windows and Red Hat Linux environment in Andover, MA. You will manage DNS, DHCP, and AD, and resolve complex technical issues while pursuing DoD 8140/8570 certification.

The role requires US citizenship and interim clearance eligibility. The position requires a university degree or equivalent experience and at least 2 years in a related field, with strong server and troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
Ability to obtain INTERIM U.S. government issued security clearance before start date.
Experience with installation, configuration, and administration of Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
Experience with server architectures and troubleshooting methods; ability to document solutions.

Responsibilities

Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment.
Troubleshoot problems of moderate to high scope and complexity; assist with hardware/OS integration.
Develop solutions and documentation for a variety of technical problems.
