Job summary

RTX is seeking a Principal Linux System Administrator based in Marlborough, MA to design, deploy, and support secure, on-site Windows and Linux environments for critical DoD programs. You will lead patching, imaging, automation, and compliance activities while coordinating with Cyber Security and other IT teams.

You must be able to obtain interim DoD security clearance, be a U.S. citizen, and be onsite with occasional travel to RTX locations.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent or related experience.
• Experience with Windows and Linux server administration and security.
• Ability to obtain Interim DoD secret clearance before start.

Responsibilities

• Maintain secure, cost-efficient enterprise Windows and Linux environments 24x7x365.
• Design, deploy, and support virtual infrastructure via VMware ESXi and vCenter.
• Manage imaging, deployment, and automation including MECM/SCCM, PXE, and PowerShell scripts.
• Ensure STIG/EVAL STIG compliance and coordination with Cyber Security teams.
• Collaborate across IT and security teams to resolve complex infrastructure challenges.
