Job summary

RTX is seeking a seasoned IT systems administrator to join our onsite team and support a heterogeneous Windows and Linux environment. You will manage assets, provide end-user support, and maintain endpoint security in a 24x7 operation with DoD security requirements.

Responsibilities include configuring assets, managing Active Directory, VMware, and backup procedures, and collaborating with Cybersecurity. A Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience with minimum 5 years in IT.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance required.
• U.S. citizenship is required for security clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous RedHat Enterprise/Microsoft Windows environment.
• Image and configure new IT assets for deployment to end users.
• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of IT assets and inventory records.
• Provide technical support by diagnosing and resolving end-user issues related to hardware and software.
• Manage virtualized environments and server infrastructure.
• Utilize Windows Server internals: DNS, DHCP, AD, and replication.
• Ensure data backup/restoration following industry best practices.
• Maintain tickets and SLAs; document advanced IT processes and training.
