Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a field-facing role to service multiple customer locations and manage inventory for Grainger MRO solutions. You will stock products, follow routed schedules, and engage customers to create new orders while promoting loyalty.

Responsibilities include problem solving on-site, collaborating with sales partners, and ensuring safety compliance during visits across customer sites in the Peoria area.

Qualifications

• 3 years' experience in a selling or service environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to lift 25 to 60 lbs and/or work in difficult positions.
• Must carry required levels of automobile insurance and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Service multiple customer locations.
• Receive and stock purchased products in designated customer locations.
• Maintain product stocking levels by scanning inventory for ordering purposes as inventory is depleted.
• Resolve customer problems promptly to retain and promote customer loyalty.
• Follow designated routes defined by routing software tools and maintain route guides.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities in productivity, process, and cycle time.
• Comply with facility safety and inspection requirements.
• Engage customers to identify additional product needs and help create new orders.
• Probe for customer needs during each site visit.
• Work with sales partners to expand Grainger offerings.
• Help customers understand Grainger solutions for their business MRO needs.
