Job summary

Siemens Mobility in the Los Angeles area is seeking a Service Coordinator/Dispatcher to manage onsite and remote service activities for our customers. You will be the primary contact, schedule resources, dispatch field personnel, and ensure service work orders are created and completed on time.

This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, experience with contracts, and proficiency in MS Office and SAP.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and understand customer service contracts.
• Experience providing administrative support to executive and senior leadership teams, maintaining accurate data records, and delivering exceptional service to internal and external customers.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (MS Word, MS Excel) and business software systems (e.g., SAP, Adobe).
• Verbal and written English communication skills.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the delivery of onsite and remote service activities from demand creation through delivery and close-out.
• Act as primary point of contact for service customers to ensure expectations are met.
• Handle incoming service requests via phone or email, creating service work orders and scheduling or dispatching personnel.
• Schedule resources to support standard service agreements.
• Decide on scheduling and movement of resources and material based on urgency and availability.
• Order and track parts and subcontractors to support maintenance plans and service calls.
• Evaluate time-and-material service orders for completed costs and scope of work; process invoices per standard billing practices.
• Proactively follow up with customers after completion of service to ensure satisfaction.
