Job summary

McGough is seeking a Senior Construction Schedule Manager to develop and maintain schedules for commercial construction projects using critical path scheduling and industry standards. You will lead planning meetings, review progress with teams, and create work plans for milestones along the critical path.

The role emphasizes proficiency in Primavera P6, earned value/forecasting, and collaboration with owners, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure on-time delivery and schedule integrity.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years relevant experience, or 10+ years if no degree.
• Experience in construction phase of project lifecycle.
• Experience with design-build contractor environments.
• Excellent communication skills and relationship-building with owners, subs, and teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain schedules using critical path methods.
• Lead planning meetings and coordinate with Project Manager and Scheduling Department.
• Prepare baselines and track progress; review subcontractors' lookahead/work plans.
• Provide analytics and risk mitigation insights for project schedules.
• Update and maintain schedule with project tracking tools; develop Time Impact Analyses.
• Support with lookahead planning and pull planning activities.
• Interact with project teams to define scope and sequencing of work.
• Monitor schedules and communicate impacts of changes.
• Prepare detailed schedules using Primavera P6.
