Job summary

McGough Construction seeks a Senior Construction Schedule Manager to develop and maintain critical path schedules for commercial projects. You will attend weekly meetings, review subcontractors’ plans, and lead planning sessions to ensure on-time delivery.

Hybrid work is available with occasional on-site Rochester assignments. The role requires a four-year degree in CM/Engineering or related field and at least 6 years of scheduling experience, with strong knowledge of Primavera P6 and earned

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related degree.
• Minimum of 6 years relevant experience in construction scheduling or project management.
• Experience in construction phase of project lifecycle and design-build environments.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with owners, subcontractors, and project teams.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to lead planning meetings.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning effort with Project Manager and Schedule Department.
• Develop Work-Breakdown Structure (WBS), durations, and sequencing.
• Create Baseline schedules for construction projects.
• Monitor and update project schedules; provide guidance to Operations staff.
• Coordinate with submittals, procurement, design and permitting progress.
• Prepare Time Impact Analyses per recommended practices.
• Develop lookahead schedules and pull planning with McGough standards.
• Analyze project trends using analytics and support risk mitigation.
