Job summary

Hire Consulting Services is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale industrial EPC electrical or mechanical construction projects in Houston, onsite with 70% travel. You will bridge clients, executives, field teams, and subcontractors to drive performance, risk management, and project closeout.

You will mentor PMs and engineers, oversee budgets and schedules, and ensure safety, quality, and contractual compliance across complex programs. PMP/OSHA 30 preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 10+ years of progressive EPC electrical/mechanical construction experience, including 5+ years leading large projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for large-scale electrical, mechanical, or industrial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Manage project financial performance: budgets, forecasting, cash flow, profitability, change management, and reporting.
• Direct and coordinate project teams, subs, and vendors to align with objectives, schedules, and contracts.
• Maintain client, owner, GC and stakeholder relationships; lead negotiations and strategic planning.
• Oversee scheduling, procurement, labor productivity, and material management to optimize efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards (OSHA) and project specifications; foster safety culture.
• Mentor and develop project managers and field leadership; identify process improvements.
