RTX is seeking a mid- to senior-career Senior Hardware Test Engineer to join the Mechanical Analysis and Test Department in Andover, MA and Marlborough, MA. The role focuses on comprehensive test support across development and production, covering vibration, thermal, environmental and structural testing with leadership responsibilities.

You will work with design, analysis, manufacturing, and external government customers, mentoring junior staff and guiding department processes.

Qualificações

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
• An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years’ experience.
• Hands-on mechanical aptitude and willingness to work in a lab environment.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• Willingness to travel to domestic Raytheon sites, suppliers, and government facilities.

Responsabilidades

• Perform instrumentation planning and test conduct of all Hardware Tests including vibration, mechanical shock, temperature, altitude, humidity, and structural testing.
• Perform dynamic and thermal data acquisition and analysis.
• Work directly with design engineering, structural analysis personnel, manufacturing engineering, and commercial customers.
• Mentor and provide test guidance to junior section members.
• Support Factory and supplier testing domestically and internationally.
• Act as a technical leader and lead teams to meet program milestones.
