Job summary

RTX, formerly Raytheon Technologies, is seeking a Test Solutions Engineer to join the Hardware Discipline Center in the US. You will design, analyze, prototype, and implement high‑reliability mechanical test fixtures and environmental test stations for defense systems.

You will produce 3D CAD models and 2D drawings, ensure compliance with ASME Y14/ISO standards, validate test systems, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams across engineering and manufacturing.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics required.
Experience using CAD software to generate 3D models and assemblies.
Experience creating or maintaining mechanical hardware documentation and drawings.
Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, coursework, or projects.

Responsibilities

Design, analyze, prototype, and implement advanced mechanical test fixtures and environmental test stations.
Create 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD tools.
Ensure technical data packages meet ASME Y14 standards or ISO GD&T.
Validate test systems against accuracy, repeatability, and reliability requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to diagnose issues and drive design improvements.
