Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is seeking a Technical Specialist to serve as the primary onsite point of contact for security system issues. You will diagnose and troubleshoot card readers, access control panels, turnstiles, CCTV, and intercoms, perform basic repairs, and assist with firmware updates under guidance from the Systems team.

You will monitor tickets, determine onsite vs escalation needs, and maintain detailed service logs to ensure full resolution and accountability.

Qualifications

• Experience with physical security systems (access control, CCTV, intercoms)
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Basic understanding of networking and system integrations
• Ability to perform minor hardware repairs and maintenance

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary onsite point of contact for all security system-related issues
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues across multiple systems, including card readers, access control panels, turnstiles, CCTV, and intercoms
• Perform basic repairs and preventative maintenance (hardware adjustments, system resets)
• Support firmware updates and upgrades (execution led by Systems/Tech team)
• Monitor and review incoming service tickets and escalate as needed
• Maintain accurate service logs and documentation of actions and outcomes
