Job summary

Securitas Technology Corporation, a division of Securitas AB, seeks technically minded individuals experienced with low voltage electronics to service security systems at customer sites. You will handle post-installation issues, perform on-site software upgrades, and contribute to special projects as needed.

The role emphasizes trouble-shooting, preventive maintenance, and thorough documentation to ensure uptime, system performance, and clear communication with technical and non-technical

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience installing and troubleshooting low voltage equipment.
• Strong knowledge of access control, CCTV, burglary, intrusion, and fire alarm systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication skills.
• IP addressing knowledge.
• Endorsements in Life Safety licenses are a plus.
• Certifications in CCTV and Access Control are a plus.
• Experience with Bosch, DMP, Honeywell, Pacom, Verint, Avigilon, Axis, Lenel, Software House.

Responsibilities

• Respond to trouble tickets to ensure uptime and system performance.
• Diagnose and resolve application issues.
• Execute preventative maintenance tasks to maximize availability.
• Perform routine configuration changes (user permissions, configurations).
• Document all system modifications through a change control tracking system.
• Produce technical documentation describing deployment details for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Perform pre-deployment end-to-end testing of upgrades and modifications.
• Perform on-site installations of software upgrades and major modifications.
