Job summary

Securitas Technology is a leading security solutions provider delivering video, access, intrusion, fire, and integrated systems. The role focuses on on-site service, troubleshooting, and upgrades for client installations, requiring strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

You will help maintain system uptime, perform preventative maintenance, and document changes for a wide range of security devices and networks across client sites.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience installing and troubleshooting low voltage equipment.
• Strong working knowledge of commercial access control, CCTV, burglary alarm, intrusion systems, and fire alarms.
• Fire alarm experience: Bosch, Silent Knight preferred; other brands a plus.
• NICET certification or State Fire License preferred.
• ESA Certified Alarm Technician preferred.
• NTS Certified Service Technician preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and network basics.

Responsibilities

• Respond to trouble tickets to ensure application uptime and system performance.
• Diagnose and resolve application issues individually or as part of a team.
• Execute preventative maintenance to maximize availability and identify system faults.
• Perform routine configuration changes (user permissions, configuration).
• Document all system modifications with a digital change control system.
• Produce technical documentation describing deployment details for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Perform pre-deployment end-to-end testing of upgrades and modifications.
• Perform on-site installations of software upgrades and major modifications.
