Securitas Technology in the United States seeks an on-site Service Technician to handle post-installation issues and keep security systems compliant. You will diagnose faults, perform maintenance, and support software and hardware upgrades across fire, intrusion, CCTV, and access-control platforms.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical abilities.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Familiarity with access control, CCTV, intrusion systems, and fire alarms is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls, inspections, and trouble tickets for fire alarm, intrusion, access control, and video surveillance systems.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair system faults in the field, alone or with teammates.
• Perform preventive maintenance, testing, and inspections on life safety and electronic security systems.
• Configure, program, and update user permissions and device configurations.
• Document service activity and create detailed technical reports for customers.
• Test system operation after repairs and upgrades to ensure proper performance and compliance.
• Install and support software, firmware, and hardware upgrades for security systems.
• Assist with system expansions and equipment replacements while following safety and regulatory requirements.
• Provide professional on-site customer support and explain system operation and improvements.
