Securitas, Inc. is seeking a Techincal Specialist to provide onsite support for security systems, diagnose issues across access control, CCTV, intercoms, and related devices, and perform basic repairs.

You will monitor tickets, determine if issues can be resolved onsite, and escalate when required, ensuring thorough documentation and logs. The role emphasizes strong troubleshooting, coordination, and clear communication with stakeholders, with a focus on minimizing disruption during maintenance

Qualifications

Experience with physical security systems (access control, CCTV, intercoms, etc.).
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
Basic understanding of networking and system integrations.
Ability to perform minor hardware repairs and maintenance.
Strong organizational and documentation skills.
Effective communication and coordination abilities.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary onsite point of contact for all security system-related issues.
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues across multiple systems, including card readers, access control panels, turnstiles, CCTV, intercoms and other devices.
Perform basic repairs and preventative maintenance, including hardware adjustments, system resets, and firmware upgrade support as directed by the Systems/Tech team.
Monitor and review incoming service tickets.
Assess issues and determine onsite resolution or escalation needs.
Escalate complex issues to appropriate internal teams or vendors.
Track issues through to full resolution, ensuring closure and documentation.
Maintain accurate service logs, including actions taken and outcomes.
