Essex Property Trust, Inc. in San Jose is seeking a Community Relations Manager to elevate the resident experience across the portfolio.

You will lead a team of community relations representatives, manage resident communications through the CRM, and ensure smooth move-in and move-out processes. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in property management with supervisory experience, strong customer service, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM or property management software.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• 2+ years of property management experience with 1-2+ years of supervisory experience.
• Commitment to exceptional customer service and residents' needs.
• Ability to supervise staff of two or more associates.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management or CRM software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and support a team responsible for resident communications and inquiries via CRM.
• Ensure seamless move-in and move-out experiences and related paperwork.
• Coach team to address resident concerns promptly and professionally; escalate when needed.
• Oversee portfolio tasks and calls through Funnel, ensuring timely responses and compliance.
• Maintain knowledge of community portfolio and guide property-specific operations.
• Collaborate with Community Management Team to improve operations and satisfaction.
• Ensure confidentiality of resident and property information.
• Oversee resident events and posting across portfolios.
• Assign and manage special projects for operations and satisfaction.
• Monitor office expenses within budget; manage staff performance and development.
• Support additional duties to enhance operations and resident experience.
