Job summary

Assurant is seeking a Repair Operations Manager to lead device processing operations at the Mt Juliet, TN facility. You will oversee supervisors and technical teams to ensure production goals and customer SLAs are met, while driving continuous improvement and workforce development.

The role requires extensive manufacturing leadership experience, Lean/Six Sigma expertise, and a focus on quality, safety, and operational efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in manufacturing, production, distribution, assembly, reverse logistics, or related operational environments.
• 5+ years of experience leading supervisors and managing frontline operations teams.
• Proven experience implementing Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze operational data and make data-driven decisions.
• Experience managing an hourly workforce in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other business reporting tools.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering results in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise supervisors and production staff to execute device processing in line with company standards and work instructions.
• Drive production performance, ensuring quality, throughput, and SLA targets are met.
• Monitor workflows, enforce quality controls, and implement reporting systems to track KPIs.
• Partner with leadership to set daily production plans, priorities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Optimize operations through line balancing, WIP reduction, and process improvements.
• Coach, train, and develop team members; foster a positive, high-performance culture.
• Implement and improve operational systems, procedures, and workforce planning.
• Maintain a safe, compliant, and efficient work environment.
