B.HOM Student Living - Social 28 Apartments in Gainesville, FL is seeking an Assistant General Manager to oversee on-site operations at the community. You will work with the General Manager to drive revenue, control expenses, and ensure resident satisfaction while upholding company policies.

The role requires strong communication, leadership, and familiarity with property management systems. A high school diploma is expected, bachelor’s degree preferred; occasional weekend work may be needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in property management or on-site leadership.
• Strong understanding of property operations and financial basics.
• Excellent communication across all levels and teams.
• Customer-focused service mindset with problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property systems.
• Demonstrated leadership and team support capabilities.
• Ability to obtain any required state leasing license within the timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the General Manager to maximize revenue and manage expenses within budget.
• Ensure accuracy of financial data, reporting, and revenue analytics.
• Oversee rent collection processes and liaise with collection agencies as needed.
• Ensure all billing and revenue entries are accurate in PM systems.
• Respond to resident service requests and maintain high satisfaction levels.
• Assist leasing activities including tours, applications, and lease execution.
• Inspect units and common areas to ensure standards; support move-ins.
• Train and develop on-site team members; coordinate schedules and duties.
• Ensure safety compliance and conduct inspections; support reporting.
• Assist in planning resident events and community engagement activities.
