Job summary

B.HOM Student Living is seeking a General Manager for our Tampa community. You will lead staff, supervise leasing, marketing, maintenance, and resident experience while driving financial performance and NOI.

This role requires strong leadership, superior communication, and a hands-on approach to building a high-performing team in a student housing setting. On-site work in Tampa, with potential community partnerships and events.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in multifamily or student housing environments.
• Proven ability to manage budgeting, leasing, marketing, and operations.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the community team, manage staffing and schedules.
• Oversee day-to-day property operations across departments.
• Support leasing activities, showings, and occupancy goals.
• Drive marketing strategies and resident engagement programs.
• Monitor budgets, expenses, and NOI to maximize profitability.
• Build partnerships with universities and community orgs.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the community.
