Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions under the supervision of the Community Manager. You will supervise onsite staff, handle leasing, maintenance, and risk management, and ensure compliance with company policies and fair housing guidelines.

The role includes posting payments, reconciling accounts, monitoring delinquencies, and assisting in achieving budgeted revenues and Net Operating Income.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or 2 years housing experience.
• Ability to understand onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations and financial functions under supervision of the Community Manager.
• Manage rent collections, postings, and account reconciliations to optimize cash flow.
• Monitor delinquencies, issue notices, and support eviction processes when needed.
• Assist in meeting budgeted revenues, expenses, and Net Operating Income.
• Supervise onsite staff and ensure compliance with policies and fair housing guidelines.
• Perform end-of-month closing procedures and maintain organized records.
• Conduct property inspections and ensure timely maintenance and safety compliance.
