Essex Property Trust in Bellevue, WA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance across properties, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repairs, ensuring high standards of safety and resident comfort. The role reports to the Maintenance Supervisor or Community Manager.

A high school diploma and 2+ years in property management are required, with a valid driver’s license for on-site golf-cart duties and the ability to work five days on-site with on-call

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2+ years of property management industry or related experience.
• HVAC and/or CPO license preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license for onsite operations with golf carts.
• Proficient knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances).
• Repair interior and exterior features (doors, windows, walls, flooring, fixtures).
• Respond to maintenance requests promptly; ensure timely resolution.
