Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician at Headwaters at Autumn Hall in Wilmington, NC. The role involves technical and mechanical duties to keep buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas clean, safe, and functional according to company standards.

You will handle work orders and preventative maintenance, assist with make-ready processes for new move-ins, manage inventory and materials, and document all activities for accurate tracking.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs.
• Performs make-ready tasks to prepare vacant units for leasing, including inspections, creating punch lists, coordinating vendors, and ensuring timely completion.
• Tracks materials, tools, and inventory; notifies supervisor when re-orders are needed.
• Documents service activity accurately to ensure requests are tracked.
• Maintains grounds and common areas; cleans, paints curbs and signage, and assists with safety and risk management programs.

Education

EPA Refrigerant Certification (Type 1/2 or Universal)
