Job summary

Greystar, a leading real estate manager, is seeking a Maintenance Technician for The Henley in Apex, NC. The role focuses on technical and mechanical work to keep the buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meeting Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

Responsibilities include handling work orders, completing the make-ready process for vacant units, managing materials and inventory, documenting requests, and assisting with grounds maintenance.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant recycling certifications
• Valid driver’s license (as applicable to property operation)
• Certifications as required by state/local jurisdictions
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and on-call shifts

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders and preventative maintenance for the property, diagnosing the defect and repairing per safety standards and code requirements
• Complete the make-ready process for vacant units, including inspections, punch lists, and coordinating vendors
• Access and obtain materials and tools from maintenance, track inventory, and notify supervisor when re-ordering is needed
• Document and track service requests accurately and in a timely manner
• Assist in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities, including cleaning, painting curbs and signage
• Support cost-cutting by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible
