Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our community by performing technical and mechanical work to keep buildings, grounds, and amenities in top condition. You will handle work orders, process make-ready tasks for vacancies, and maintain property standards.

The role requires EPA certifications, HVAC knowledge, and strong customer service skills. This is a full-time on-site position with a rotating on-call schedule and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and related experience/training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or building upkeep.
• Must provide own hand tools unless prohibited by state law; safe use of hand/power tools required.
• Ability to diagnose issues and perform repairs per policy and safety standards.
• Strong customer service and communication skills when interacting with residents and team members.
• Proficiency with basic computer programs and record-keeping for maintenance logs.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests and perform routine maintenance.
• Manage and complete the make-ready process for vacant units.
• Set standards for cleanliness and appearance of common areas.
• Inspect work by others and contractors; implement corrective actions.
• Maintain inventory and coordinate with Community Manager on supplies and budget.
• Support safety programs and ensure OSHA compliance.
