Job summary

Greystar is seeking an on-site maintenance technician to ensure property facilities meet safety, cleanliness, and functionality standards. You will diagnose and repair issues, perform preventative maintenance, and support make-ready tasks for vacant units.

You will also manage supplies, document work orders, and participate in safety trainings. A high school diploma or equivalent and two years of maintenance experience are preferred; EPA refrigerant certifications may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be proactive and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Experience in property maintenance or related trade preferred.
• EPA certifications Type I/II or Universal for refrigerant recycling may be required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate on-property equipment.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders and preventative maintenance to meet safety and quality standards.
• Perform make-ready tasks to prepare vacant units for leasing and move-ins.
• Manage material and tools, inventory tracking, and ordering needs.
• Document service requests accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities, including cleaning and minor painting.
• Assist in safety meetings and training; report accidents promptly.
