Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to ensure the physical upkeep of buildings, grounds, and amenities. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and complete the make-ready process for vacant units, while keeping thorough maintenance records.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, general certifications as required, and a valid driver’s license for on-site operations. The position offers a competitive benefits package and an on-site work environment.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• All required state and local certifications.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Makes ready the vacant apartments by inspection, punch list, scheduling vendors, and ensuring tasks are completed.
• Tracks materials and inventory, returns unused items, and notifies supervisor for re-ordering.
• Documents service requests timely and accurately for proper tracking.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities; assists with cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-saving by fixing rather than replacing parts and using tools correctly.
