Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician in Denver, CO to perform technical and mechanical tasks ensuring buildings and grounds meet safety and appearance standards. Responsibilities include completing work orders, making-ready vacant units, and maintaining inventory while documenting tasks accurately.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications (Type I/II or Universal) and a valid driver’s license to operate property vehicles as needed.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant certification required.
• Valid driver’s license required (to operate a golf cart on property, if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance following safety standards.
• Finish the make-ready process for vacant apartments, including pre-move-out inspections and punch lists.
• Track materials and inventory, obtain supplies, and notify supervisor when re-ordering is needed.
• Document service requests and maintain accurate records.
• Assist with grounds, common areas, and amenities maintenance (cleaning, debris removal, painting, etc.).
• Support cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts where feasible and using tools correctly.
